Backtrack - Day 11 from Ani! - Friday, Namba

On Friday I went to downtown Osaka, called Namba, with a few other classmates and a few Japanese students. It was fun, and rather interesting. We first took a train to Tennoji, and then walked to Namba because some of the people wanted to walk through Den-den town (it saved money). Walking through Den-den was rather interesting, some of the things I’d rather not have seen but the other stuff was cool. We went into this giant Anime store there, it was seven stories tall though we only looked at five floors (sort of, only two floors fully). The below pic is an example of some of the many many anime posters we saw hanging all over the place.

Once we finally got to Namba (it was about an hour walk) we split into two groups, one going to ramen the other to get crepes, I went to ramen. It was yummy and reasonably priced. The store was quite nice as well.

After eating we went to meet up with the other group, but then found that they were shopping, so we went to the arcade. I played a fun drum game, and DDR. The most interesting thing though was watching the expert gamers playing the games. Also, the arcade was five stories high; there are a lot of tall buildings here.
After we met up with some of the other people we went to a huge electronics store, I spent most of the time on the anime floor ‘cause it was interesting. They had many fun things, including anime puzzles, music, gundam, and etc. I also got to play the piano ^_^

It was a fun excursion :)
