This morning’s class is the ichiban taihen. The kids are wild. I must execute a strict regimental plan or I’ll lose control of the area.
The afternoon classes, which are normally good, weren’t great either. Discipline is required.
But today was mostly sunny!
As you can see, the sakura blossoms have lived a short life and quickly chiru (fall).
Except on this tree.

ReplyDeleteBeauty is fleeting, you're smart to slow down and 'smell the roses' (or sakura).
ReplyDeleteDiscipline is the foundation for teaching. But it's good for them, so stick to your guns.
Whenever anyone wondered how I could possibly homeschool, I told them children can easily learn on their own if they have good study habits. Most of my challenges were getting my kids to sit down and do their work—which involved discipline.
ps I had one daughter that had innate self discipline, but I won't tell who if you don't.…
